Meet Dr. Anton Olivier

PhD, MMGT, MBL, BEng(Hons), BEng, PMP
Helping organisations across Africa turn strategy into action. Anton is a seasoned leader in strategy planning, execution, and project management, with expertise in public and private sector projects, ensuring objectives are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Our value proposition is clarified by the following statements
“Strategy does not separate the good from the great, but execution does”
(Collins 2001)
“In business, execution is everything. If an organization can’t execute, nothing else matters: not the most solid, well thought-out strategy, not the most innovative business model, not even technology that could transform an industry.”
(OnPoint Consulting, 2006)
“Execution is the great unaddressed issue in the business world today”
(Bossidy & Charan 2002)
“Strategy execution evolved … to a top priority in most organisations … companies continue to lose 40 to 60 percent of their strategic potential while trying to execute it.”
(Schreurs 2010)
“The execution of a strategy is more important, and more valuable, than the formulation of a strategy… Unfortunately, the vast majority of organizations fail miserably when attempting to execute their strategies”
(Paul Niven, 2003)
Clients & Development Partners
We work with a broad and credible mix of international development partners, governments, utilities, NGOs, and private-sector institutions across Africa and the Pacific. Our development-partner portfolio includes long-standing engagements with the European Union (EU Delegations, INTPA/EEAS and EU-funded implementers), the United Nations system (UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF), and major development banks such as the World Bank, AfDB, ADB and KfW, alongside bilateral agencies including GIZ, Lux-Development, and the Governments of Finland and France.
On the client side, we support central ministries, parliaments, regulators, state-owned enterprises, water and energy utilities, road and transport agencies, and municipalities—particularly across Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Lesotho, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Kenya, Timor-Leste and Papua New Guinea. Our work also extends to universities, professional bodies, international consulting and engineering firms, NGOs and civil-society organisations, enabling us to bridge policy, strategy and project delivery on the ground.
This diverse client and partner base reflects our ability to translate donor priorities into practical, results-driven implementation, while strengthening institutions and improving public-sector performance.
